Dear Senator Leahy, you got that message?

You asked for a good reason for primaries to go on, and yesterday you got over 2 million reasons for it. Now, if your prime reason for asking Senator Clinton to drop out was really were interested in party unity, then I suggest a better plan for that- just pick up the phone call Governor  Dean and Senator Obama and ask them to arrange for revoting in Michigan and Florida. Once the revoting happens, whomsoever gets the most votes can be nominee, otherwise, I assure you that you will have millions of `bitter' Democrats on your hands.

You can send the same message to Senator Dodd.

Wow, how much fail was in that post? Let's count.

1) Senator Clinton still has a long, uphill battle to actually be in a position to win the nomination. She now has to score 71% in the remaining contests to win.

2) Two million people? How about 1.2 for Clinton, and 1.0 for Obama?

3) Governor Dean and Senator Obama have no power over the revotes that aren't going to happen in Michigan and Florida.

Sorry. You could have made a good point; you had Senator Leahy in your sights! But then you turned the gun around and went BAM!

Hooray for John McCain!

My dear friend when I said over 2 million votes, I meant both Clinton and Obama voters. I do not count only one person's vote as important. For me, every vote in a democracy has to be celeberated.  You may choose to discount Clinton supporters, I do no such thing to Obama supporters.

And yes, Obama and Dean definitely have power to get revoting done. It was Obama who scuttles the re-voting in Michigan.
